The Royal Wedding

Yes, I did wake up at 3:45am, just in time to Watch Princess Catherine and her dad get into the car, to take them to Westminster Abbey. I watched until about 5am, then went back to bed.
These are my favorite things about the wedding:

Obviously, her dress. Not a huge fan of the poofiness, never have been, never will be. But it is perfect for a princess. I LOVED the lace arms!!

Her sister, Pippa's dress. This could be a Mormon wedding dress (with a higher v-neck) and it is beautiful! I would like to have her perfect body as well.

The balcony kiss, not 1, but 2 kisses! Adorable.

The music this choir sang. It was absolutely beautiful to listen to!

Least favorite part:
What is this hat??!!! She should've stayed home.

The Grand Prize is here!

This weekend, me and Brett are staying here:

And all day Saturday we will be soaking up the sunshine here:
in the 90 degree weather.
You can be jealous. I worked very hard to win this.

Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration

As of yesterday, this is the first time The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has ever released a full length film on the internet. This film has been shown in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for the past 5-6 years, but it has now been revised to be better understood by a wider audience. I watched it this morning at work, and I noticed there are quite a few new scenes in it. I guess some parts in the first edition of the movie were not easily understood if you did not already know stories from the life of Joseph Smith.

This would be a great thing to do for Family Home Evening. You can watch the movie here:

This movie brings me to tears everytime I watch it. Especially when Joseph is on his way to Carthage, and as he is riding away, him and Emma stare at each other, both knowing they'll never see each other again. (That scene is in the video below)

I'm not sure what album this song came from, but it's about Emma Smith. This video has scenes from the Emma Smith Movie. This is by far my favorite Church movie. Please watch it.

These are my favorite lyrics from the song:
With the world on your shoulders, when the nights would grow colder, you seemed to weather every storm with a queens grace.
When you lost your husband, when you buried your children, I'm sure the angels stood in reverence as you prayed.
I'm sure your heart breaks, when some people still say, somewhere down the line you lost your faith.
How much can one heart take?

High School

Recently, some of my mgs have shared pictures of what they looked like in high school. We are trying to motivate each other to reach our goal weight/size.
So here are mine!
My hips were a million times smaller 5 years ago.

I realize this picture makes me look a bit boy crazy, but I promise that wasn't the case. Brett was obviously my best friend, and I was getting a picture of us with his 2 friends that were visiting. Then, somehow Levi, Sloan, and Greg showed up in the picture as well.
(Look at Brett's long hair!!!)

I was a size 3 here. I still have this outfit. It is my goal to fit back into these pants!

And I know all of these pictures have to do with cheer.....but that's what I was doing 99% of my time in highschool. And I loved it more than anything. So I don't have a lot of pictures of me doing anything else.
