I really am trying to be a regular blogger. Sometimes (all the time) my life is just so boring and the same things happen every day! There's not much to blog about other than what I eat and what workouts I did that current day!
So today as I was pondering what I could blog about, the only thing interesting that has happened lately is my cute nieces coming to Utah!

The girls were here for about 3 weeks! We were so lucky to have them. Oh how I wish they were my very own daughters! Alisha...don't be surprised if they disappear one of these days!

Savannah: I can't believe how grown up she is! She is the best big sister anyone could ever ask for. She is so sweet and always willing to help, loves helping me clean (so weird), and always wants to hang out with me. AND: She has the most beautiful, natural wavy hair I've ever seen. Taylor Swift should be jealous!

Emma: She doesn't like me very much. Well...I think she loves me, but she just loves to give me a hard time and bully me. It's okay. One day, she won't be a tomboy anymore, and she will want to go shopping with me.

Becca: Out of the 3, she was the first one that loved me when she was a baby! MIRACLE! She loves dresses and makeup and anything girly. She talks all of the time now, and has a hard time saying her "R"s just like I did!

Hopefully I'll be getting the more official photos soon, but here are all the photos I took from my phone at the wedding.

What a wonderful day this was! As far as I know, everything went so smoothly! This is the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to. Like, movie style, seriously. It's days like this that I wish I could relive over and over. :) Oh how I wish I could have another wedding of my own...with the same husband of course!

The day started out at the Salt Lake Temple. The spirit was so strong as these 2 were sealed together for all eternity! They have been in love since they were 15 years old, so it's about time this wedding happened! There were tears of joy coming from both of their families, especially parents.

Next up was the Reception:: aka the most amazing, most beautiful reception EVER. It was held at Thanksgiving Point. This was not your typical mormon was a fabulous dinner with an entire program put on by the Simons and Sommerville families. Brett gave a toast-amony. He is such a good speaker and seems so comfortable in front of large crowds. Good thing I was not asked to do anything, my introvert self cannot handle it: face goes bright red and I can barely get a word out! Maybe that's why I was put in charge of decorating the car...simple, with no one watching me. Score!

Our tradition of going to East Canyon and running the half marathon continues! This is the most relaxing trip of the summer...but obviously most exhausting at the same time! I am so grateful for the Prowse family, mama Luann and Grandpa Rex for always letting me and Brett crash their family time! The WHOLE family came this year, and it was so much fun to see all of the brothers together! It was my first time meeting Blandon, and his family. OH MY GOSH, his 2 boys are the CUTEST!! Every time I even looked at them, I grinned inside. They made me so happy!

And let's not forget Pearl...most perfect. daughter. ever.

The half marathon went so good! Kami did amazing (of course, she's superwoman!). I did 12 minutes better than last year! wahoo! I made a goal that the only times I would stop and walk were when I was going uphill, and I succeeded! (I hate going uphill, and there are a LOT of hills!)
Brett and Blaine both ran the 10k, and killed it! Seriously, why are boys good at everything?! not fair.

Here are some more pictures from East Canyon!
